Gals Take On Powder Puff

High School Girls Take on Football
Gals+Take+On+Powder+Puff

As the year is wrapping up, our high school students are starting to get tired and in need of something refreshing. That’s exactly why Powder Puff comes into play at this time of the year.

Powder Puff is when the high school girls play a football game against each other by grade. Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior girls are made into their individual football teams and are coached by appointed students from our highschool boys football team.

Freshman Danena Chen talks about what she is looking forward to about this event and said, “ I am super excited to have a fun experience with my friends.”

Sophomore Victoria Head talks about what she is most excited for about the upcoming game and said, “I am so excited to cheer my friends on and express the school spirit with them.”

Junior Taylor Clarke talks about how she plans to prepare for gameday and said, “I plan to watch more football to get used to the plays.”

Senior Mimo Olowu expresses her passion for Powderpuff and said, “The school spirit makes this a fun activity to do with your friends, you get to meet and become friends with new people as well.”

Powder Puff is an opportunity for our high school students to have fun in the midst of the on-going school work. Our female students get to experience how football guys train for a day, and are able to experience what it feels like to play on the field. Through this PCA tradition, many memories are made, along with a burst of energy to finalize the school year.
