What age were you when you started this sport?
I started swimming when I was about 12.

How many hours a week do you practice?
I practice about 8 hours a week.

Name one thing you are working to improve right now?
I’m trying to improve my endurance and butterfly form.

Pre-game ritual?
Before the meets, I grit my teeth and generally try not to be too comfortable.

How would your teammates describe you?
My teammates would probably describe me as awkward since I generally try to focus on practice.

Who is your role model, and why?
My role model is my sister, Taylor Lunsford, who is a former swimmer.

What is the hardest thing about your sport?
The hardest thing about swimming would probably be flip turns as they make or break a race and are exhausting.

Name something that stresses you out?
I get stressed out about whether or not I get DQ in my race.

Name a recent accomplishment you are proud of, and why?
My recent accomplishment was getting a 1:06 on my 100 back which is pretty good.

Before I graduate, I want to ________, and why?
Before I graduate, I want to win an event because that shows how far I have come.

Name one thing about yourself that most people don’t know?
Most people do not know that I am actually a swimmer.
