The Varsity Girls Soccer Team always follows through the season with a special tradition. The Potluck provides bonding with the incoming freshman who will play on JV or Varsity.

They have a special tradition called Big and Lil Sis. The Big Sis creates their Lil Sis a poster and a gift bag. After the gift exchange they have time to bond with each other.

Freshman Brenna Callender said, “The food was really good and it was amazing getting to meet my little sis.”

Majority of the girls also enjoyed the food that parents brought from both high school and middle team moms. Potluck is one of the girl’s favorite traditions. They all love bonding and getting to know the incoming freshman for next year.

Freshman Reese Glass said, “it’s good to engage with the younger generation.”

Sophomore Sydney Baker said, “It was good getting to know my little sister, finding our similarities and making the girls feel special.”

Overall, the majority of the Varsity girls enjoyed getting to know the little sister in a special way. The incoming freshman felt very welcomed by this tradition and loved being able to have someone to look up to on the team.
