Through My Eyes: Homecoming

Rehash PCA’s favorite fall event!

The party started when I walked in. The Dj was playing Party in the U.S.A, the room was dark but full of lights. People were dancing everywhere; you could barely walk. My feet were aching from my five inch heels, so the girls, in excruciating pain, walked to the tables to take off their shoes.

By the time I got to the dance, I was so hungry from wasting all of my energy dancing on the party bus. Luckily, there was a huge table full of popcorn and all different kinds of candy. A strong suggestion for next year is to have more water stations or maybe even water bottles because they kept running out of water when everyone was very thirsty.

I was thrilled at how good the DJ was this year. He played an amazing list of songs and switched from one to the next well. My favorite part was how everyone moshed in the middle creating a dance circle with everyone dancing in the center. Everyone had smiles on their faces and had a great time whether they had a date or not.

Wrapping up the dance, everyone was sad to leave. I ran around the room finding my friends and saying goodbye to the ones that weren’t leaving with me. Leaving was kind of difficult to find everyone in our group and round them up. Whenever we got everyone in our group together, we checked out of the dance with our ID’s and left the gorgeous hotel the dance was in.

Our white hummer limo was waiting outside for us to come out. I had so much fun dancing and singing along while my friends played songs on the limos speakers. We rode in “luxury” all the way back to a friend’s house. When we arrived, we sat down to eat. This was probably my favorite part of the night because we had Chipotle catered to the house.

My friend group and I hung out for a couple hours and danced around. As the night came to an end, I lamented that it was a very exciting and memorable night I will never forget.
