The Middle School Band and Cheer team performed in front of the crowd, showcasing their hard work and dedication. Eighth grader Delaney Parker shared her enthusiasm, saying, “I like to perform in front of a lot of people. It is fun to show our grade what we can do.” For the cheer team, this event was a highlight, allowing them to display their skills and the routines they had practiced.
Fellow cheerleader Story Hartman said, “It’s fun to show everyone what we’ve worked on and demonstrate our skills.” The cheer team had put in countless hours perfecting their moves and choreography, and the pep rally provided the perfect opportunity to shine. Each cheerleader showcased their unique skills, making the performance a special moment for both the performers and the audience.
Eighth grader Brookie Geyer also expressed her excitement, saying, “I love the pre-pep, “I love the pre pep rally and welcoming people into the pep rally.” The moments before the rally start are filled with energy as the cheerleaders warm up and greet their classmates. This welcoming atmosphere sets the stage for a memorable event.
In addition to the performances, the pep rally featured the announcement of fall sports awards. Football, volleyball, and cross-country teams were recognized for their character and achievements throughout the season. This acknowledgment not only celebrated individual athletes but also encouraged teamwork and school pride.
