Prestonwood’s Homecoming week is a fun and exciting time when families, students, alumni, and staff come together to celebrate school spirit and support the Lions. It’s a special event that gives everyone a chance to enjoy time with friends, reconnect with old classmates, and share in the excitement. The entire week is filled with activities, from dress-up days to games and competitions, creating an amazing and fun week for everyone involved.
Homecoming week isn’t just about football—it’s also a way to celebrate the school’s history and the friendships built over the years. One of the highlights of the week is the all-school on-campus parade, where everyone gathers to cheer and get ready for the big game. The pep rally adds even more excitement, bringing students and families together to show their support for the team. The presentation of the Homecoming Court is also a special part of the event, reminding everyone of the tradition of Homecoming at PCA.
Middle School Dress-up Days included – Grades 5-8: Wednesday, September 25 – Tourist Day (dress as a tourist), Thursday, September 26 – Comfy Day (slippers, PJ pants, or sweatpants), Friday, September 27 – HOCO T-shirt or PCA spirit wear for the parade & pep rally
5th Grader Hudson Kidwell said, “Comfy day is my favorite day. And my score prediction for the game on Friday is 24-21 PCA wins.” The students get to wear their pajamas or any comfy clothes all day in school. LUCKY DUCKS!
6th grader Benjamin Acquah said, “Tourist day was my favorite dress-up day. And I think that the score will be 64-6 PCA.” The students get to dress up like they are tourists from any country or are touring a country. Students can show off their creativity in what they choose to wear.
7th grader Beckett Garrison said, “My favorite day is comfy day and I predict the score will be 35-17 PCA beats Nolan Catholic.”
8th grader Eli Moore said, “Tourist day was my favorite day, and I believe that the score will be 65-14 PCA wins.”
Wow, bold predictions from every grade. Hopefully, PCA can secure a victory for the Lions. It looks like PCA students are really pulling for PCA. Let’s Go Lions!
