As Thursday, September 17th approached, excitement filled Prestonwood for the much-anticipated volleyball game against Trinity Christian Academy. This game was expected to be a great competition for PCA volleyball.
Senior Taylor Cook remarked, “I was really excited to compete against a school that’s in our district.”
The game, which took place in the school’s field house at TCA, was a showcase of talent and school spirit. The Prestonwood volleyball team, led by their coach, Ryan Mitchell, faced off against their rivals in a highly competitive match at six o’clock.
Senior Audrey Letcher said, “The team was really pumped to play against TCA; they are a really fun team for us to play.”
The volleyball game was not just about the players on the court; it was also about the lively atmosphere created by the PCA Student Section. The student section kept the girls hyped with their high-energy cheers, which kept the team in good spirits.
Sophomore Naomi Livings said, “The student section always made things more fun and lighthearted, which made the whole experience so much more enjoyable!”
The game itself was a nail-biter, with both teams showcasing impressive skills and determination. In the end, Prestonwood managed to secure the win.
Sophomore Nyla Livings said, “I was thrilled to play that Thursday, win or lose. I was happy to be playing with my girls.”
As the Fall season progressed, students and staff looked forward to more thrilling games and events.
Sophomore Anya Baklenko said, “I was so overjoyed to play with such high-level athletes. They made our games much more entertaining to watch.”
