In bursts of enthusiasm and joy, students gather in the field house for the first pep rally of the year. This event was designed to give our students some school spirit before the first game of the season. Students enter the pep rally and they are greeted by the pom squad, comp cheer team, and the band.
Sophomore Preston Ngyuen said, “I really enjoyed the amazing school spirit at this pep rally.”
Pep Rallies are coordinated by the Student Government Association (SGA) and planned by the SGA Sponsor, Upper School Geometry teacher, Mrs. Brittany Adams. Seniors Campbell Panetti and Brady Palmer brought the hype as hosts on the mic and games such as musical chairs between teachers and students.
Sophomore Reagan Nolan said, “The game of musical chairs was full of laughter and unexpected twists.”
The great thing about the beginning of the Fall season is that there will be many pep rallies to look forward to. Students are excited about the pep rallies to come.
Junior AJ Morreale said, “I loved this pep rally, and I am excited for the future.”
Past pep rallies have been too low-key and students agree that some new life has needed to be breathed into them. This has happened with the new SGA and their efforts.
“This year’s pep rally was even better than last years. We really had the energy,” said junior Alli Pasant.
