Moving to a new school can be a really challenging experience, but also a good and positive transition at the chance of a brand new start. Being a new student can be scary but also a brand new chance to make new friends and have new experiences. There are many chances to get to know other people and many opportunities to try something new that you might have never done before.
Personally from my own experience moving from Houston to Dallas, I have loved moving schools because of the new opportunities that it has brought me and the kind people that continue to love me here. Though moving schools has not been easy, the teachers here have always been there for me and offered words of wisdom to me when needed. The process was much easier with the older, Godly people surrounding me.
Another positive of moving schools is learning new things and ideas about people’s personalities. You meet a multitude of new people and how every school is different. The different opportunities, clubs, sports, and events that a new school brings allows students to engage in new possibilities.
New academic challenges are definitely something that all students experience. Since PCA is a college preparatory school, the academics have pushed me to be more rigorous and dedicated to my studies.
I am thankful that even though there are some negatives when moving to a new school, the positives make it all worthwhile.
