What made you decide to come to PCA?
Tradition of the basketball program and the opportunity to coach in a Christian school. And the Prestonwood community was a great place for my family to be.
What is your favorite part of PCA so far?
Being able to pour into our players spiritually.
What PCA traditions are you most excited to experience?
Crowds when we have a big home game (rivalry games). Silent night is one of the great traditions.
How many years have you been teaching?
I have worked 6 years at PCA and 25 total.
What made you realize you wanted to become a teacher?
The Influence coaches had on me growing up and the impact sports had on my development on me as a young man. I wanted to have the opportunity to impact young people the way my coaches impacted me.
What was your first impression of PCA?
The community was like a small town in a big city and the staff developed relationships with the kids and poured into them.
What college did you go to?
Tarleton State University
What do you teach?
I coach basketball and I used to teach economics, health and history.
Anything else you would like people to know about you?
I’m also the director of the sports organization at PC. I’ve been married 19 years, and I have 3 kids here at PCA.
