When did you start playing softball?
When I was really young I don’t exactly remember what age but definitely at an early age.
How many hours a week do you practice?
Depending on the week apart from school, I practice 2-5 hours a week.
What position do you play, and why?
I play shortstop usually because when I played there for the first time it just felt like it was a perfect fit for me.
Name one thing you are working to improve right now?
My throwing skills becauseI would love to improve my throwing speed.
Pre-game ritual?
Prayer and some loud music with the team to hype us up.
Nicknames your teammates call you?
Tessie
Who is your role model, and why?
Probably my mom because she is such a strong independent woman who shows me how I should live my life well.
What gives you an edge?
Just my want to get better. I really love seeing the improvements I make and all the progress I make on the field and in the weight room.
What is the hardest thing about softball?
The mental aspect, it’s hard to stay happy when you strike out or miss an easy ground ball.
Name a hobby you enjoy outside sports?
I enjoy sports photography.
Name something that stresses you out, and why?
School because I usually have a lot to do and not a lot of time to do it.
