PCA’s Student Government provides a chance for students to take a leadership role in activities and events around PCA. Our SGA officers are school leaders who help facilitate the PCA environment we all know and love.
Junior, Lexie Grammer is one of the class representatives for the Junior class. Lexie’s favorite part of planning homecoming was figuring out ways to make all the float and hallway designs work. She joined SGA because she thought it would be a good opportunity to meet people and be active in her grade. Her one piece of advice about being a class representative is that it’s important to have a good attitude
“My favorite part of being in SGA is getting to work with all the people there,” says Lexie.
Senior Belle Senkel is the executive girl vice president. She joined SGA because she wanted to see more unity throughout the school. Her favorite part of planning homecoming was seeing all the involvement of her peers. Her favorite part of being in SGA is seeing everyone come together and trying their best to unite the student body.
“One thing to know about SGA is that it’s a big responsibility, but so much fun.” says Belle.
Freshman Natalie Choi is one of the class representatives for the freshman class. She joined SGA because it sounded super interesting, when Ms. Jessica Tunnell, Upper School History Teacher and SGA teacher sponsor explained it to the incoming freshman.
Natalie’s one piece of advice for being in SGA is that it’s important to care what your grade thinks and to take input.
“My favorite part of being in SGA is the connections and friendships I form with people.” says Natalie
SGA is more than just getting elected and meetings. It’s hard work and lots of planning to ensure students can have the best school year possible. Our SGA works hard to help PCA events to be the best they can be, and we know they will continue to represent PCA well in the future.
