Middle/Upper School Winter Sports: Parent Meeting Tonight, October 14, at the PCA Field House 6:30 p.m. There will be breakout sessions with coaches following the general session.
ACSI In-House Math Olympics: Registration for the ACSI In-House Math Olympics is open. Complete details regarding the meets and dates for testing for each campus and grade level can be found on the Competitions resource board of myPCA. Registration will close on Tuesday, October 15. 5/6 Fitnessgram Fall 2019: Beginning today, Monday, October 14, 2019, Grades 5-6 will take the Fitnessgram Test. The test is not a pass/fail test but rather a marker to indicate to you where your child’s health and fitness rank in relation to their peer group. The students have practiced the tests, and they are ready to go.
- The girls may wear their black, white, or saddle oxfords tennis shoes.
- If students choose to bring other running shoes, they can change into them in the gym and change back before they head to class.
- They may not wear non-approved running shoes all day.
- Our young ladies should wear modesty shorts under their jumpers or skirts.
Book Fair Week – October 14-18: Middle School Grades 5-6 will be in the Library Resource Center on Monday, October 14, for the Scholastic Book Fair. New this year, a digital payment option for a great alternative to sending students to school with cash. Parents can easily create a Book Fair eWallet and set a spending limit for their students. Minimester: Fifth through Eighth-grade Minimester information is posted on grade-level topic boards on myPCA. Please note that the first payment is due October 15.
Middle School Homecoming Dress Up Days are October 21-25: Dress Code Guidelines apply during Homecoming Special Dress Days. Please keep in mind students will be in class all day. Students are encouraged to be creative, but NOT distracting, standard guidelines for dress rules and modesty apply. If a student chooses not to participate, the regular school uniform will be required except Friday (Spirit wear day.) Remember to let dress-up choices be pleasing to the Lord. Ordered Homecoming T-shirts will be distributed to the students during Homecoming week.
