Sophomores, MANDATORY pre-administration for PSAT TODAY during activity period at 9:15 am in the SLC.
Please bring a number two pencil with you, NO mechanical pencils and be on time!
The PCA Speech and Debate team competed on Saturday at the Princeton HS Invitational. It was a great event, and we give all the Glory to God. Winning 1st place in Congressional debate was Bryson Frank, with Jack Dunigan taking 1st in extemporaneous speaking, Bettina Devadoss placing 1st in Humorous Interpretation, Leila Finn placing 3rd in Humorous Interpretation, Mark Samuel Harty placing 5th in Program of Oral Interp with his selections on child soldiers and finally Peyton Bergeron placing 5th in Dramatic Interp. As you can see, this was a great weekend for our speech and debate lions, and we are very proud of them.

If you are interested in helping on the backstage crew for PCA’s fall show, Godspell, please pick up a packet at the US front desk. We need help with props, set, lighting, sound, costumes and hair/makeup. See Ms. Hurt with any questions. All sign up forms are due by Friday, October 4.

The Local Culture Dallas Minimester Trip will have a mandatory meeting tomorrow (Oct. 2nd) during activity period. We will be meeting in Mrs. Beckles’ room U115. If for some reason you are unable to attend please stop by and get the information you need from Mrs. Beckles.
The next SLi meeting will be Tuesday, Oct. 1. at 9:15. This week students will break up into grade-level meetings and have group sign-ups, so please make every effort to be there!
