As half of the school year is about to set in, the seniors are ready to graduate. Some students are counting down the days to graduation, while others want to savor the short amount of time we have left. Students are very nervous, waiting for college results and potential scholarship offers. Soon, everybody will be checked out, ready to move on to their new journey of life.
Senior Cruz Banuelas said, “I’m still waiting to see what schools I am going to get offers from. I am excited to see where I end up in the fall.”
Many students already know where they will attend due to sports, allowing them to check out at the beginning of the year.
Senior Timothy Mei said, “I just got admitted into Duke, so now I don’t need to worry about high school anymore.”
Many students already know where they are going to college, allowing them to check out and get ready for their next stage in life. Some are still waiting for colleges to release their decisions, leaving their future in the air all the way up until the national commitment deadline on May 1st. Senioritis is hitting hard, but the class of 2026 is ready to finish up this semester strong.
