Homecoming 2025 just came to an end on October 18th. Over the week, students were encouraged to dress up at school for daily themes, show school spirit at the football game, and go to the homecoming dance at the end of the week. Some of the themes for dress-up days included twin day, comfy day, wear neon, and superheroes.
The Lions took home the win against Legacy Christian, winning their Homecoming football game 51-25. The next day, students dressed up for the yearly homecoming dance, held at Frisco Hall this year. Many students enjoyed dinner and pictures before, and had fun hanging out with friends after.
Senior Lulu Presbrey said, “My favorite part about dress-up days was that I got to wear a new set from Aerie that I have been wanting to wear for a long time.”
While dressing out of uniform is a hit for Hoco week, the parade on Friday morning before the football game is also a favorite.
Senior Cheerleader Emery Nichols said, “I loved the parade on Friday and walking with my team, also getting to see the lower school students watch.”
Hanging out with friends is another part of what makes homecoming so fun!
Senior Kennedy Harris said, “My favorite part of homecoming was hanging out with my friends and making plans before and after the dance.”
Homecoming is a fun and exciting time every fall for students to dress up, hang out with friends, and enjoy time together at the football game and dance. Students look forward to this time every year and all the fun activities that come with it!
