The Prestonwood Christian Academy Lions baseball team is already working hard with the fall season now going on for the team. The fall baseball season began three weeks ago and now it is time for the team to get ready for the main spring season. It’s a chance for the players to get rid of any rust and build a strong team that works hard together.
Junior Conner Vitali said, “My favorite part of fall baseball is meeting and playing with the new guys before the spring.”
This time of practice and games helps new players get to know their teammates. This is important for a good season later on.
Sophomore Drew Thompson said, “The reason we play fall baseball is to prepare for the spring season, and the fall season started up 3 weeks ago.”
This includes drills and getting used to playing together as a group. It’s a way for the team to get a head start on their rivals.
Junior Preston Smith said, “I think fall baseball is most important because it helps us keep the rust off for the spring season.”
By staying active in the fall, the players can be ready to play their best in the spring. The fall season is more than just practice; it is how the Lions get ready for the new season and build a winning team.
