Here at PCA, there is a special tradition during homecoming, H2OCO. H2OCO is a student-led initiative that began in 2017 and was founded by PCA alumni Courtney Villa Kistler. It focuses on building freshwater wells through the Master Cares. The mission of H2OCO is simple but powerful: to provide freshwater to communities that lack the resources. Through H2OCO, that story is changing.
Junior Sevyn Trogdan says, “I think H2OCO is aiding Africa’s problem with a lack of water through allowing the student body to come together as a community towards one goal.”
In partnership with Master Cares in Africa, H2OCO has funded and built more than 15 water wells over the past eight years. However, these wells don’t just provide clean drinking water—they give families health, hope, but most importantly, they deliver the message of Jesus Christ to those who have never heard. Every student, PreK through 12th, has the opportunity to be part of H2OCO. Donations can be made at any time, and high school students will be allowed to add it on to their mum or garter. When you give, you’re not just joining a PCA tradition—you’re changing lives across the world. Please be a part of H2OCO this year!
