After a long 12 years of waiting, our seniors finally got to attend the long-awaited San Antonio Senior Trip. Having looked up to this trip after the countless stories, social media posts, and talk, the class of 2026 could not have had a more magical experience to unite with one another.
The first day in San Antonio, the seniors arrived at the beloved Buckee’s and purchased numerous snacks to share with their friends. After around 2 hours, students arrived at a restaurant in New Braunfels, had a warm dinner, and had the leisure time to shop around. Finally, the Seniors arrived at the hotel, unpacked in their rooms, and hurriedly went to hang out at the pool. Near the pool was a miniature arcade, a food hall, basketball courts, and, most popular, pickleball courts.
Senior Renato Casusol said, “The entire day was filled with fun, but I have to say, pickleball was the most fun.”
The second day in San Antonio, students went to walk the iconic Riverwalk and take numerous pictures. After pictures were taken and memories were made, the seniors headed back to the hotel for additional pool time and free time. With insane waterslides and amazing drinks at the drink stand, students enjoyed a nice rest after a long and eventful day. However, there was still one more activity to end this trip strong!
Senior Aidan Petrof said, “This trip was filled with endless memories, yet the arcade as our last activity of the second day really topped everything off!”
After spending 3 hours at the arcade, students left with prizes, stuffed animals, memories, and again, an uncountable number of pictures.
Senior Sophia Allen said, “I was so happy we got to spend time at the riverwalk and the arcade, and leaving with my stuffed animal prize made me rejoice.”
The San Antonio Senior Trip did not disappoint our 2026 Lions. All seniors got to leave the trip with a huge smile and a happy attitude to kick off the last year ahead.
