With bragging rights on the line and the trophy in sight, the seniors, juniors and sophomores are set to collide in a Powderpuff showdown that’s already generating serious hype.
The juniors, led by Head Coach Junior Gabe Tyree, are coming in confident and focused after opening practice on Monday, April 14. “We’re ready to win it all this year. We’re focused on the potential matchup with the Seniors, but can’t overlook that the sophomores are looking dangerous this year,” said Gabe.
Defensive Line Coach Junior Eddie Brownstein is leading a defense that’s ready to shut down whoever they play.
Brownstein made the message clear, “We’re locked in and ready to win,” Eddie said. “We have a good squad this year and I think we can win it all.”
But don’t expect the sophomores to go out easy.
Sophomore quarterback Reagan Nolan and standout receiver Kate Chisum have been working on building a connection for the upcoming game.
“Reagan’s going to throw me a bunch of touchdowns,” Sophomore receiver Chisum said. “You’re gonna want us on your fantasy team.”
Sophomore quarterback Reagan added, “We’re confident that we can upset the juniors this year. We’re here to play.”
With talent on both sides, this matchup is shaping up to be a good one. The only question now: Who comes out on top? The answer is neither!
This year, the seniors took the win. Nice job Senior Lions!
