What age were you when you started this sport?
I started running track when I was 12 years old.
How many hours a week do you practice?
I practice anywhere from 8-10 hours a week.
Name one thing you are working to improve right now?
I’ve been working hard to increase my endurance at my top speed so all of my times improve.
What events do you run?
I run the 100m dash, 200m dash, and I’m working to improve my speed and eventually be on the 4×100 relay.
Pre-meet ritual?
I like to listen to music and stretch before I run. I also like to read motivational books before running.
How would your teammates describe you?
My teammates would describe me as a good leader, nonchalant, and humorous.
Who is your role model, and why?
My role model is Usain Bolt because he battled adversity to become successful internationally in track and field events.
What is the hardest thing about your sport?
The practices are hard because the coaches push us to be better.
Name something that stresses you out?
One thing that stresses me out is the mental part of running track. I get nervous before running and get in my head.
Name a recent accomplishment you are proud of, and why?
I’m proud of how I’ve been able to balance school and life recently even though I’ve been really busy.
Before I graduate, I want to ________, and why?
Before I graduate, I want to be in another one of the PCA musicals because I’m passionate about performing.
Name one thing about yourself that most people don’t know?
Most people don’t know that I enjoy making music.
