Brooklynn Pruitt is a senior and a newbie to the newspaper staff. Her job serves as the advertisement and social media editor. When she’s not spending her time trying to get her GPA up, she loves to play soccer and is the lady lions senior captain. Her weekends consist of watching her favorite soccer team Manchester City and driving around with her friends. Also, she enjoys brunch.

Senior Luke Savage also joined his teammate River Ridings in playing in purple for the next 4 years. Savage signed for TCU baseball. The whole school is so proud of all of these athletes and cannot wait to cheer them on in college athletics.

Senior, Lauren Meece, played the role of Anna Maria. In the opening scene of the play, Lauren introduced the setting of modern times. Overall the fall musical Godspell was enticing and had a great story line.

Freshman and Sophomore geometry teacher Mr. Cunningham dressed up as Captain Jack Sparrow from The Pirates of the Caribbean. Showing the kids how its done, Mr. Cunningham really went off with this eyeliner and dreads.

The Lions first home football game of the season also served as our Lower School night. A mini Pom performance by the Lower schoolers got the young and old fans excited about the game. The Prestonwood community was in full force supporting the football team.

Before the crazy arrival of the underclassmen, Director of Worldview, Mr. Dan Panetti gave a devotional to the Seniors. Focusing on God’s creation was very easy to do with the view of the Sky Lake in the background.
