Reminiscing on Minimester

Students share their input post Minimester and the life changing weeks they experienced while there.
Reminiscing+on+Minimester

During the week of February 27th, students had the opportunity to travel to different places around the world to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Minimester is a time for going out into the world and sharing the gospel to hundreds of people.

It is a week where students go on mission trips to change lives, but come back with their lives changed. Hearts were filled with joy and our students made impactful relationships with people all over the globe.

“I went on the girls Costa Rica minimester trip and am forever so grateful. The trip was very influential on my life and there were sweet friendships made with the kids there and the group.” said Senior Karson Wrona.

The amazing thing about Minimester is that while there, everyone in the group is able to bond in unique ways and create lasting friendships.

“I went on the Amazon trip this year and it was one to remember. Words can’t even begin to describe the amazing things we saw, were taught, and experienced while in Brazil. We also were able to share the gospel with many, and I was able to learn so much about the Lord, too.” said Senior Annika Blom.

The beneficial aspect of Minimester is getting to know Jesus so much better through the situations, stories, and experiences across the United States, and even locally in Plano.

“Minimester was one of the best weeks of my life. We had the chance to share the gospel with a man named Samuel in the middle of a public park in South America. We also had the opportunity to love on kids at a daycare in Costa Rica.” said Junior Claire Moye.

Students are so thankful for a whole entire week in the school year to go out and tell the world about Jesus. It ends up being a favorite from most students and one of the most influential parts of the whole school year.
