What age were you when you started this sport?
I was five years old when I started playing baseball.
How many hours a week do you practice?
I practice around 18 hours a week.
Name one thing you are working to improve on right now.
I am currently working on hitting so I can be able to hit whatever pitch is thrown to me.
Tell us something that you need to do before a game.
Before a game, I am always stretching so that I can avoid injury and my body can be in the best shape to perform.
How would your teammates describe you?
My teammates would say that I lead by example and I am encouraging.
Who is your role model, and why?
Mike Trout is one of my biggest role models. He is arguably the best player in the game right now, and the way he carries himself on and off the field is something I look up to.
What is the hardest thing about baseball?
Being mentally focused is the hardest thing, knowing that baseball is a game you’re going to fail more than you succeed.
Name something that stresses you out about baseball, and why?
Sometimes in close games, things can get stressful but it’s important to stay focused and stay calm.
Name a recent accomplishment you are proud of, and why?
I recently just signed to play baseball at Baylor University. Baylor has been my dream school since I first began playing baseball.
Before I graduate, I want to ________, and why?
Before I graduate I would like to win a State Championship. This is an accomplishment that not many people achieve so winning one during my final year of Upper School would be special.
Name one thing about yourself that most people don’t know.
Something people don’t know about me is that I am a big hockey fan.
