6 November – Middle School College Prep Night for 8 grade Parents Monday, November 6, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. Upper School Horner Training Center Parent Meeting Hosted by PCA Upper School Guidance Office Topics: Future High School Years, Preparing for College. Please save the date; more information will be emailed to 8th-grade parents.
Biblical Worldview Institute (BWi) There are so many incredible opportunities for our students to learn at PCA, and one of the best tools we use to sharpen students is the training we offer during our annual Biblical Worldview Institute. BWi is Thursday, November 8th and Friday, November 9th. We have planned great speakers to share with our students. Our overall theme this year is Image Bearer, Genesis 1:27. 8:00-11: 30 am each morning in the Prestonwood Baptist Church Worship Center.
Service Project Day – November 15: Thursday, November 15th is our annual Fall Service Project Day for 7th – 12th-grade students. Student’s will travel in small advisory groups to agencies across the Metroplex, providing help and assistance to many organizations in our community. Some of the agencies we partner with include: Grace Bridge, CC Young Retirement Center, God’s Food Pantry, H.I.S. Bridgebuilders, Bonton Farms, Feed My Starving Children, North Texas Food Bank, and many more. Student transportation will be by bus to their scheduled locations. An email to be sent out to parents this week with more details.
